Nightmarket
I started this series during the second lockdown, in 2020. After a whole day spent working from home, my "daily exercise" was hanging around Shepherd's Bush with a very old Nikon DSLR.
Few people were about, and the only shops open were the ones selling food and other essentials.
I began taking pictures of these places and their surroundings, fascinated by the sense of liminality they took on in that strange time.
It has since grown into an ongoing project, one I keep returning to year after year.
